Manuel Matías Fernández Saldaña (Biography)
He was born in Matagalpa, Nicaragua on February 14, 1984 of Spanish nationality, the son of artists, teachers and theater directors, Mr. Julio Saldana and Ms. Liber Fernandez, settled in Paraguay in 1991 in the company of their parents. Start studying painting and drawing at the TEI in Asuncion. Shortly after the school entered the IMA Children's Art Municipality of Asunción where he studied art, design creativity and subsequently participated in art exhibitions at the Colegio Dante Alighieri. Later he studied drawing at the International School (Asunción - Paraguay), with Professor Gerardo Escobar.
He did his primary studies at the Colegio Fray Luis Bolaños de Asunción getting a good average in the area of visual arts as well in the same areas at school and his secondary studies at the National College of Lambaré career in graphic design including the curriculum of the Ministry of Education for Graphic Arts Technology Center for 3 years, certified intern in the press "Chrome Art" by Mr. Jorge Garbet.
At present, culminating in the Bachelor of Visual Arts in the ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte) under the direction of Mr. William artist Paats, with the Commission, participated in 3 exhibitions in the Cultural Center of Spain Juan de Salazar and College again in the Dante Alighieri. Currently he is doing social work card designs and personal pictures, posters and other design and drafting work.
He has also worked with sound and lights Sarambí Theatre as "The assembly of women" under the direction of Julio Saldaña and "That's the way" under the direction of Liber Fernandez, among other similar work in design and management of lights in the play and musical "Fiddler on the Roof" with the direction of Professor Ayesha Mojoli, and shows like "boiled" and "The Wizard of Oz" Teatro Team under the direction of Juan Carlos Cañete and Patricia Queen doing work sound and lights.
Program supported by Apple Youth Cultural Center Manzana de la Rivera, can realize his second solo exhibition called "Blue Azure II (By your side)", May 2010, a second part of what was the previous exposure "Blue Blue I" in the month of September 2007 and characterized by works which shows the use of blue and its various hues representing various themes of everyday life and feelings, thoughts, dreams and presenting this third edition of "Blue Blue III (Memories)" - painting, photography and installation, as its third exhibition individual.
